Volunteer Firefighters Needed

Are you interested in making a difference in your community? Become a volunteer member of the Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan Fire Department.
Our team is looking for qualified volunteers to help save lives and property in our community. If you have the heart to serve in a way that few can, you have what we need.
As a volunteer firefighter with the Township of Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan you will participate in several areas of the fire department operations including fire suppression, fire prevention and public education and awareness.
Active duties will include fire suppression, rescue, extrication at motor vehicle accidents and performing first aid, including CPR and Automated External Defibrillation.
Each firefighter is also responsible for duties within the fire hall and related equipment including fire truck maintenance and hall/truck bay cleaning and maintenance.
There is also regularly scheduled training, specialized training and meeting nights that the firefighter is required to attend.
Applicants must be 18 years of age, in good physical condition and have a willingness to learn.

The Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan Recreation Committee is currently seeking SIX volunteer members to help organize, plan and assist with various Township events such as the Halloween Party, Christmas Craft Sale, Hunter's Supper and Winter Carnival
The mission of the BLR Recreation Committee is to ensure that the Community Recreation Programs meet the ongoing needs of our community.
If you are interested in providing your service for these community events, please complete the attached APPLICATION FORM and submit it to the Township Office.
