The Health Care Connect is a program that helps you find a doctor or nurse practitioner if you do not have one. You can also use the program to change family health care providers, but only after you drop off your current family health care provider's patient list. The Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan Township contracts with the Madawaska Valley Public Library and the Killaloe & District Public Library for library services and therefore residents and property owners may obtain a free library membership.
Your membership allows you to borrow books, DVDs and CDs from a variety of genres. Your membership also allows you to borrow museum passes. The museum passes provide free admission for a family of up to 5 members at selected Ottawa Valley Museums and are available for borrowing for a 7 day loan period from the library.
Most museums are located in Ottawa but others are located in other places in Renfrew County. Not all are listed here so see the library staff for more details.

The Community Resource Centre (Killaloe) Inc. is people working in our community encouraging and supporting individuals to improve quality of life for the positive growth in family life, co-operation, right livelihood and social development.
They provide a wide variety of supports to the community as well as administrative and office services. They also offer assistance to individuals with forms and applications, public-access computers, community bulletin board and job board displays and they annual volunteer Tax Clinic and Food and Toy Drive.

If you have a passion for gardening, are interested in providing fresh produce for community activities or don't have a garden of your own but wish to have access to fresh produce, you may be interested in the BLR Community Garden Project.

Congratulations to Gavin Gulick and Paige Mask!
Gavin Gulick and Paige Mask are two young entrepreneurs who have identified a problem in our community, discovered a solution to rectify it and have developed a business to benefit both locals consumers and businesses alike.
Their company, The MV Delivery Guys, also known simply as "The Delivery Guys" picks up goods from a variety of local merchants and delivers them to the comfort of people's homes. This not only benefits the consumer with the convenience of home delivery but also puts the local retailers on a more even playing field with the online competitors.

This past Saturday, the Opeongo Hills Nordic Ski Club, along with John Yakabuski and Garry Gruntz, cut the ribbon in celebration of their Trillium Grant to purchase a trail groomer.
