Notice of Reduced Load Limit - March 15 to May 15, 2021

Council of the Township of Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan have passed a By-law pursuant to Section 122 of the Highway Traffic Act, designating reduced load limits from March 15, 2021 to May 15, 2021 on all roads within the boundaries of the Township.

The reduced load limits will become effective upon erection of the signs, which may be erected any time after the 15th day of March, 2021.

In an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 and in keeping with Provincial Regulations and recommendations, necessary changes have been made to the operation of Building and Planning Departments.  Please see the attached LETTER regarding these changes.

Virtual Council Meeting - How To Access To Attend

Due to municipal buildings being closed to the public during the COVID-19 pandemic, the public will be able to attend the Council meeting virtually by teleconference.  Prior to the meeting time, dial the toll free number:  1-800-974-5902.  Follow the system prompts to enter the conference ID:  4041858 followed by the #sign. 

The public will be able to listen to the meeting but we ask that they mute their phones by pressing *6.

Free OVTA Membership Opportunity

In light of the effect that COVID-19 has had on tourism businesses, and as a gesture of tourism partnership, the Ottawa Valley Tourist Association (OVTA) would like to offer a complimentary membership to local businesses in the County of Renfrew and the City of Pembroke.  

The OVTA is a non-profit, membership-based Destination Marketing Organization that works to promote and stimulate tourism in the Ottawa Valley, and they would like to be more inclusive and capture all tourism businesses as well as those that support tourism in the valley.

Water Sample Drop-Off Notice

Due to COVID-19, Renfrew County and District Health Unit advises, effective immediately, drinking water sample can be dropped off only on Tuesday and Thursday before 2:00 p.m. at Lorraine's Pharmasave in Barry's Bay.  

Reminder:  Water samples must be collected on the same day they are dropped off.
