Created: Jul 27 20
In 2016, the Municipality implemented the new bin and garbage tag system at the waste site and transfer stations. At that time, new "GREEN" Waste Disposal Access Cards were issued to the registered owner of each residential, commercial and industrial property. Owners of vacant properties or properties with non-assessed travel trailers did not receive a card. Landlords are responsible for ensuring their tenants receive a card.
All residents shall present a VALID Waste Disposal Access Card before entering the Waste Disposal Site and must provide additional information if requested by the Attendant or any other person appointed by the Township. All residents not presenting a Valid Waste Disposal Access Card or who refuse to provide additional identification when requested shall be refused entry to the Waste Disposal Site.
If you have lost or misplaced your GREEN card you can purchase a replacement card at the BLR Municipal Office for a fee of $10.00.
For questions regarding the Waste Disposal Access Cards, you can contact the Municipal Office.
